Dear colleagues and friends,

We invite you to participate this year with your documentary production at the second International Festival of Tourist and Ecology Film SILVER LAKE TOURFILM FESTIVAL - SILAFEST '10, which will take place on the bank of the Danube in Veliko Gradište, August 29 – September 4, 2010.

This Festival in Serbia is sponsored by The International Committee of Tourism Film Festival - CIFFT, and gathers the most eminent authors not only from Europe, but from all around the world.

We would like to see your documentary features related to one of the mentioned topics of SILAFEST.

Existing literature and traditional stories tell about different kinds of dwarfs and similar creatures such as gnomes or midgets. These creatures that are a product of imagination are deeply rooted in the stories of European people, and they also have an important position in European literature and mythology. Three anthologies that thoroughly describe the territory where dwarfs live have been published in our country: “Dwarfs”, “Elves”, and “Giants”.
